Act now to protect our environment and your own well-being!

Earth has been so stable and enriching life for millions of years. It has seasons, climate, temperature changes which support life on earth. But in the current century, the environment is losing its stability, attractiveness, and shape due to the advancement of technology and widespread exploitation of natural resources and destruction of the environment by man.

It is quite easy to destroy this but very hard or almost impossible to correct it by man. So it is everyone’ responsibility to save the environment on this planet earth. But, we may be curious if there is really a need to save the environment.

One of the most important reasons to protect the environment is because it helps protect different ecosystems. Over the years, humans have discovered that many ecosystems are more complex than was originally thought and are deeply connected to other ecosystems. Human changes to one ecosystem, whether through environmental pollution or deliberate manipulation, can actually put multiple species in danger of extinction, necessitating the need to protect the environment.

Protecting the environment also protects humanity. A great deal of pollution, especially ocean pollution, ends up affecting creatures that humans later consume, meaning that humans are ingesting toxins.
My reason to protect the environment is that humanity has a moral obligation to the world and its creatures. Humans are responsible for taking care of the world, and protecting the environment is one way to be responsible stewards of the world entrusted to their care.

Environment which is polluted and not human-friendly has lead to a lot of diseases and disorders. This development of diseases and disorders can lead to faster chances for death. Many people tend to develop diabetes, skin problems, lung disorders etc. in certain places due to the environmental effect.

So if the environment is pure and pleasant without pollution and contamination of soil, water, and air, we will have a healthy life. We can breath fresh air, drink pure water and also eat uncontaminated food.
Just a few decades back almost all the rivers, springs, waterfalls and even groundwater was uncontaminated and very pure to drink.

But now the condition is, we cannot drink any water which is not purified by an R.O purifier. Similarly, air and soil are also contaminated by pollutants and toxins. They gain entry into the human body through air or food and can damage the health of the person.

Recently one scientist found that flower was deteriorating in their scent than before due to the use of petroleum fuels. Similarly, due to contaminated soil, water the fruits also have lost their fragrance and taste.

You can notice this difference when you eat a mango from farm-grown on artificial methods and from that grown by natural or organic means. The fragrance and taste of naturally grown fruits are so pleasant than the other ones.

Even, you can notice that trees grown recently are not so rigid like those of past. They rarely grow like them and survive for so long. This is also because of the contamination of soil and groundwater. The decrease in suffering: If the environment is pleasant it would very comfortable for all the living beings.

The ecosystem (all the communities of living organisms found in a specific place, their habitats and their interactions) in which we live provides natural services for humans and all other species that are essential to our health, quality of life and survival.

For example, our forests remove carbon dioxide and other pollutants from the air we breathe and also cool our air temperatures, reducing the formation of ground-level ozone, a pollutant that can cause heart and lung problems to worsen; our wetlands store storm water, filter and make harmless storm water pollutants, and recharge our aquifers (where most of us get our drinking water) with these filtered waters; and the dune systems on our beaches form natural barriers to storm waves and provide important habitat and travel ways for wildlife.

We also need to restore, create and enhance wetlands. Not just because coastal wetlands can help buffer communities against sea level rise or because restoring river habitats can help reduce flooding, but because ponds and lakes and wetlands are important for their own sake, for the wildlife that rely on them and the enjoyment we get from them.

Despite all of the damage we have caused the environment most of it is reversible. But there are so many easy ways to become more sustainable. We are all creatures of habit, and changing our behavior takes some time. Small steps are key, and once you find how easy each is, you will be surprised how quickly you can make a positive difference in protecting our environment for your family and your planet.

We can restore habitats and return species to them, clean rivers, renovate buildings, replenish the topsoil, replant forests. However, these activities do not slow the worst affects of the damage made. We still have to fix the source of these problems.

We can also stop the earth from getting polluted by choosing Eco friendly things, its really simple like, instead of getting plastic bags from the supermarket which takes over a 1000 years to compose into waste you can just buy a reusable bags which turn out to be much cheaper and can carry more things and last longer! Or use sustainable forest paper or solar power instead and plant trees.

Many of the dangers to the environment come from practices designed to make human life easier but actually threaten the long-term health and prosperity of humans. It is important to protect the environment because man-made disruptions to ecosystems can cause extinction, because pollution creates dangers for both animals and people, and because mankind owes the natural world a moral obligation.

Note, environment is not just pretty trees, threatened plants, animals and ecosystem. It is literally the entity on which we all subsist, and on which the entire agricultural and industrial development depends. Development without concern for the environment can only be short-term development. In the long run such a development can go on only at the cost of enormous human suffering, increased poverty and oppression.

Our children have less contact with nature than ever before and miss out on the health and well-being benefits. We desperately need to save the Environment every second the Earth is getting polluted by poisonous gases and fumes made by cars and factories. If we carry on to pollute this much what will happen to our kids? How will they live? Just ask these questions to yourself and think.

We need to remember that we were born because of vigorous and health past history of man. If we keep the environment safe, it contributes to the sustenance of human life on earth for infinite generations to come. If we destroy it, we would be the last of man remain to have lived on this beautiful planet called earth.
